Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
At Oak Tree Primary School, our early years provision is underpinned by our core values of Kindness, Respect, Resilience, Responsibility, Aspire, and Be Yourself. We are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can flourish and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We believe that the early years are the foundation upon which all future learning is built. Our intent is to:
- Value every child as an individual
- Foster positive relationships through kindness and respect
- Develop responsibility for ourselves and others
- High expectations for all – aspire to achieve
- Develop communication and language
- Build strong foundations with resilience
- Enable every child to thrive through kindness and support
- Prepare children for the future with responsibility and aspiration
- Foster a love of learning where children can be themselves
Our Commitment
We work in partnership with parents to promote children's learning and development and to raise their awareness about supporting children's readiness for starting school. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, ensuring that our early years provision provides a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment where every child can grow.
