Introducing Our School
Oak Tree is a through primary school for children from ages 4 to 11. Our current teaching and subject leadership structure is as per the documents below:
Our school is divided into four Key Stages:
| Foundation Stage | Key Stage Leader: Mrs Z Puxley | Reception Classes |
| Key Stage One | Key Stage Leader: Mrs K Forster | Years One and Two Classes |
| Lower Key Stage Two | Key Stage Leader: Mr C Maitland | Years Three and Four Classes |
| Upper Key Stage Two | Key Stage Leader: Mr S Tubb | Years Five and Six Classes |
The school has been cleverly designed to maximise all the benefits of a large school and yet retain a small school atmosphere, with the buildings arranged into five separate units, each named by our school council after one of the continents of the world:
Antarctica: Foundation Stage
Australia and Africa: Key Stage One (Years 1/2)
Europe: Lower Key Stage Two (Year 3 and 4)
Asia: Upper Key Stage Two (Year 5 and 6)
Our typical school day is as follows:
- 8:40-9:00am: Morning Registration
- 9:00-10:15am: Morning Lessons
- 10:15-10:35am: Assembly
